Simply put, I love to cook. I came by this love of cooking through my mother who grew in her talents with the help of Julia Child and the Art of French Cooking. One of my first cooking memories was rushing home from grade school so mom and I could watch Julia Child together. Pre-computers, mom always had a notebook in hand to write down the recipes so she could recreate it later. In 1969 the Galloping Gourmet joined the program line up – the yang to Julia’s yin.
